The Waterford 27" Concrete Fire Table is the smallest fire table in the Backyard Pyre lineup — and the most underestimated. At 27 inches with a flat concrete tabletop surrounding the burner, it does something none of the fire bowls can: you can actually use it as a table. Drinks, remotes, a book. The fire is running and the surface is functional.

For a balcony, a small covered patio, or a secondary seating zone on a larger property, the Waterford is the most practical compact fire feature we carry.

Why the Waterford?

  • Flat Tabletop Surface — The critical difference from a fire bowl. The Waterford functions as a fire table — you can use the surface while the fire is running.
  • 27" Compact Format — One of the smallest fire table footprints available. Built for balconies, small patios, and secondary seating zones.
  • Full Concrete Construction — Weather-resistant and built for outdoor permanence.
  • Modern Clean Profile — Fits contemporary and transitional outdoor spaces without demanding a specific design direction.
  • Push-Button Ignition
  • Available in Propane or Natural Gas

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the real difference between the Waterford and the 27" fire bowls?
A usable surface. Fire bowls are open, sculptural fire features — no tabletop, just fire. The Waterford has a flat concrete surface around the burner, so it functions as an actual piece of outdoor furniture. If you need both fire and a place to set a drink without getting up, the Waterford is the choice. If you want maximum flame visibility and don't need the surface utility, look at the York, Nantucket, Jefferson, or Newbridge bowls.

How does the Waterford compare to the Roca or Manhattan for a small patio?
The Waterford is 27 inches — significantly more compact than the 34" Roca or 36" Manhattan. For a true balcony or small apartment patio, the Waterford is the only fire table in the lineup that realistically fits without overwhelming the space.

Can I use the Waterford indoors in a covered outdoor room?
Gas fire features require ventilation. A fully enclosed space without adequate air exchange is not appropriate for any gas fire table. A covered outdoor patio with open sides is fine — standard practice for all the fire tables we carry.

What's the best seating arrangement for the Waterford?
Two lounge chairs flanking the Waterford works well. For a balcony or very small space, it also functions as a side table beside a single chair when the fire is off.
