The Backyard Pyre Story
For over a decade I’ve designed and built upscale outdoor spaces around Knoxville and Oak Ridge — manicured lawns, paver walkways, natural-stone walls, patios, and full landscapes for homes and businesses. I still landscape a wedding venue today. That hands-on work taught me what actually holds up outside, and what just looks good in a catalog.
Why I started Backyard Pyre
Clients kept asking me the same thing: “What fire feature should we put here?” Most of what I found online was either cheap, or sold by people who’d never set one in a real backyard. So I went looking for the best pieces made — and built Backyard Pyre to sell only those, with the same guidance I’d give a client standing in their own yard.

I carry two manufacturers, not fifty. Elementi and Modeno are the makers whose build quality, materials, and finishes meet the standard I’d put in a client’s space. As an authorized dealer, every piece is genuine and backed by the manufacturer’s warranty — never gray-market.
